Lavers June

The seasons more obvious than ever. Warm sun, and everything grown tall.
The boys rearrange the beds in the room upstairs, by themselves. Jude spends an afternoon ill and is carried on our country walk as far as the cemetary, where we loll about snoozing in the sun before getting him back to bed. The nex day, miraculous recovery and a surreal outing to Great Waldingfield for the Monks Eleigh Bygone Collectors Club Rally (!) complete with Tractor display team and gypsy (Toad of Toad Hall) caravan. Water pistols rumbled in garden cupboard - cue frantic gunplay...

May Lavers

Lavers gets Summery. Everything greener and lush lush. Breakfast's in the garden now, and grassy mudfields transformed into buttercup blankets to roll in. Dominos emerge as a valid, albeit gentle sport. There was even a fountain in Walthamstow to soften the back to London blues

April Lavers

This was our first Spring Lavers; the tiny garden a new room for all four of us.

Minnow nets became butterfly nets when the tiddlers eluded us
