spotted amongst the Mushrooms.

Sinclairs Oyster Bar, Manchester

£1.46 a pint. Lawks, the Odeon Pepsi was about 4 quid.

after seeing 'The Cove'.

Man U v Liverpool

In the pub, surrounded by United fans, whilst supporting Liverpool,
albeit subtly. Note dreadful Halloween decor.

8 Letters

Name of the disciple who replaced Judas?

Listening to Vivaldi, contemplating breakfast

Huxley: Guess what I've forgotten to do?
Me (anxiously): What?
Huxley: Nothing. (beams)

Sunday Morning, prince of dawning

Funking out to Guy Garvey whilst soaping up some suds. Everyone
asleep, clocks went back today, so it was crack of winter's dawn when
I woke this morning. Missing my people. X

Chips

Hux doesn't let Buxton's 4-0 drubbing dampen his chips with curry sauce

We could be heroes...

Buxton United line up against Stourbridge at the Silverlands in the FA
Cup qualifier.

Breakfast

It's 5 to 12 and time for breakfast. Slightly sore-headed from the
bottle of Amaretto that we polished off last night, Sumo and Huxley
say hello. Outside, the air is one big cloud...

Saying goodnight to p and j from Buxton xx

Lavers June

The seasons more obvious than ever. Warm sun, and everything grown tall.
The boys rearrange the beds in the room upstairs, by themselves. Jude spends an afternoon ill and is carried on our country walk as far as the cemetary, where we loll about snoozing in the sun before getting him back to bed. The nex day, miraculous recovery and a surreal outing to Great Waldingfield for the Monks Eleigh Bygone Collectors Club Rally (!) complete with Tractor display team and gypsy (Toad of Toad Hall) caravan. Water pistols rumbled in garden cupboard - cue frantic gunplay...

May Lavers

Lavers gets Summery. Everything greener and lush lush. Breakfast's in the garden now, and grassy mudfields transformed into buttercup blankets to roll in. Dominos emerge as a valid, albeit gentle sport. There was even a fountain in Walthamstow to soften the back to London blues

April Lavers

This was our first Spring Lavers; the tiny garden a new room for all four of us.

Minnow nets became butterfly nets when the tiddlers eluded us
